About this class
Do you want my full attention? Well you have it! One-on-one tuition is tailored to you and taught by me in my cosy studio in South Morang, VIC! The Private Inks Experience can be structured to suit exactly how and what you want to learn. I will take my time to get to know you, plan your class based on what you're keen to learn and provide all materials. When booking your class, you can select a preferred time and date, as well as a preferred class duration (see below). I will then contact you via email to review your request, ensuring it fits into both of our schedules. Once a time and date is agreed to, your booking will be confirmed. Class duration - here are some things to keep in mind when deciding on the duration of your class: 2 hour class: Recommended for beginners who just want to learn the basics of alcohol inks, and with the opportunity to create one artwork on paper to take home. This duration is not recommended for resin or texture work (please see the 4-5 hour classes). 3 hour class: A great fit for most students, and generally allows time to concentrate on perfecting techniques, creating a few artworks on paper, or 1-2 artworks on canvas. This duration is not recommended for resin or texture work (please see the 4-5 hour classes). 4 hour class: Recommended for textural work and those who just want to keep on painting and learning. This duration is perfect for completing a larger-scale artwork or a smaller artwork with textured components. 5 hour class - 3hr/2hr split class: This duration is specifically for alcohol ink and resin classes only. On day 1 (3hr), you will create your alcohol ink artwork on a primed art board. I will then ensure your artwork is sealed and ready to go for day 2 (2hr - usually the following weekend) where I will show you how to apply resin to your artwork. Your final piece will require 2-3 days to fully cure and will need to be collected from my studio after this time. Alternatively, postage of your piece can be arranged for an additional fee. Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify me via phone (0466667988) at least 7 days prior to class commencement to receive a full refund or class credit. If cancellation notification is received less than 7 days, but more than 72 hours prior to class commencement, you will receive a full refund or class credit minus a $50 fee. If cancellation notification is received less than 72 hours prior to class commencement or you miss your class, no refunds or class credits will be processed.
