The Amour Art Scarf is a very limited release of silky crepe scarves, featuring a snippet of one of my favourite artworks of mine - Rose. These luxurious scarves have been lovingly handmade in my studio in South Morang, VIC, being 100% made from scratch by Victorian small businesses! 
 
As the name Amour suggests, the design which I have taken from my original artwork, Rose, explores the emotions and connected feelings associated with love. It provokes thought and discussion about the necessity for human connection and the different facets of love we experience everyday. This works in with the design wrapping around you in a beautiful embrace every time you wear it - hopefully working as a reminder to enjoy and treasure all of the different types of love when they occur, including love of self.
 
My incredible fabric printers in Thornbury, VIC have reproduced my artwork with amazing vibrance and detail on their beautiful 100% polyester 82gsm crepe de chine fabric which is a soft drapey and slightly textured weave and creates a perfect luxury scarf feel!
 
Following printing, I have carefully cut and sewn each scarf myself in my studio, putting my perfectionism to good use! This includes even creating my own small labels from scratch which I have fit neatly into the hem.

Care Instructions
Cold delicate machine wash, turn inside out to protect print. Line dry in shade or flat. Cool tumble dry. Do not iron print, iron on inside on low polyester setting.
 
Please note: this item is completely and lovingly handmade. Therefore each item may be slightly different from the next as they have been sewn by a human and not a machine - making each item completely unique! I have tried my very best to make every piece completely perfect, but given the handmade nature of the items, there may be very slight imperfections in the print and/or sewing. Please keep this in mind when purchasing handmade,

Faulty/damaged products

Although we try our absolute best to ensure your product is packaged well and arrives safe and sound, we understand that every now and again accidents can happen in transit. If your product arrives to you faulty or damaged, please contact us at shakethetreeart@gmail.com (or via any of the other communication methods displayed on the CONTACT page of our website) as soon as possible. We will resolve any issues as quickly as we can to ensure you have the smoothest possible customer experience.

 

Resined products

We take the utmost care to ensure that your resined artwork is coated in a beautiful clear gloss coat every time. However, due to dust and particles in the environment, and changes in temperature over the extended (>24 hr) curing time of the resin, there are sometimes small imperfections within the resin, but which do not impose on the overall look of the artwork. This is simply a product of the hand-crafted nature of the artworks we produce. Please ensure you understand this prior to purchasing a resined art piece as we will not accept returns on this basis.
