The Something Silver collection is my latest collection of small gifts to celebrate Valentine's Day 2021! To me, Valentine's Day is about celebrating everyone you love, not just your significant other. While many of us love to celebrate the day of love, many others often experience a very lonely and isolated Valentine's Day for many reasons - this will likely be exaggerated this year as a result of the horrific mental health impacts brought on by the horror year which was 2020.
 
So I ask that you use this Valentine's Day 14th Feb 2021 to celebrate everyone you love - including (but certainly not limited to) your best friends, family friends, someone who has had a rough time during the last year and needs a little pep me up, and yourself (do NOT about forget you!).

Most of you are probably familiar with Lifeline Australia or have heard of it at some point - they offer confidential 24/7 crisis support over a range of modalities for people fighting with suicidal thoughts, experiencing a personal crisis, or caring for someone who is. More recently they have also launched a podcast which safely discusses stories of individuals who battled with suicidality, in an effort to decrease stigma associated with mental illness and suicide, and invite people going through a crisis to reach out for help. I think their work is incredibly important - even moreso the last year - and I am so very excited to be able to support them as our first charity for 2021!
 
This collection includes nine wooden hearts, adorned with a gorgeous alcohol ink artwork featuring shimmering silver accents and protected in resin also embedded with accents of silver. The reverse and sides of the heart are covered in textured shimmering silver and the heart will be signed on the reverse.
